Ready To Get Started On Your Florida Medical Use Card?
STEP #1 – ASSESSMENT
First, you make an appointment with one of our certifying doctors who will evaluate you for medical use eligibility. Simply bring your Florida drivers license or qualifying identification as well as any medical records to your office visit. The total evaluation visit should take less than an hour. You can save time by printing and filling out the forms at home and bring them with you. Otherwise we can give you the paperwork to fill out at the office.
STEP #2 REGISTRATION
Upon evaluating your medical history and discussing your current medical condition, your are certifying doctor will verify that you meet the requirements for eligibility for medical herbs use. Once eligibility is established at your initial visit, a profile will be created for you in the states registry. A profile in the state registry is essential to receive your medical use card. Step 2 takes place on the same day as your initial assessment.
STEP #3 Congratulations
Congratulations! Your same-day registration is submitted to the Florida Department of Health which issues your medical use card. (For now, the state has run out of plastic card so they are sending out email confirmations). Fortunately, the state is streamlining the process and turnaround times for cards are getting better every day. Once your card or email is received in 2 to 3 weeks, you will be eligible to purchase your medical use products from a local licensed dispensary.
